Lee on top at Waste Management Phoenix Open

Fowler carded four-under-par 67 in front of a bumper crowd of 201,003 people - a new PGA Tour attendance record - to take his total to 13 under after three rounds.

Lee is chasing the second PGA Tour win of his career after winning last year's Greenbrier Classic, and the South-Korean born New Zealander is looking in fine form at TPC Scottsdale.

It was smooth sailing on the front nine as he shot four birdies, including three straight from holes two to four, and while the back nine proved more challenging, he still managed a par score with two birdies cancelling out his two bogeys.

His score means he moved a shot further clear of Matsuyama, who carded three under, and Fowler, who had to settle for one under.

The chasing pack closed the gap on the leaders, as Bryce Molder shot a superb seven under to move his total to nine-under-par 204.

Molder was superb on the front nine as he shot five birdies to close out his round.

Boo Weekley joins Molder on the leaderboard after carding six under on Saturday, while three-time Phoenix Open winner Phil Mickelson is one stroke behind them in sixth.
