Celebrity Barcelona fan visits team in LA

Barcelona received a celebrity fan, American basketballer and five-time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant at their training base in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old Los Angeles Lakers superstar is a well-known Barcelona fan and was clearly happy to be with his favourite team as he posed for photos with the club jersey.

"I have been following Barca for 10 years. I love how they play," he once told club journalists at the StubHub Center.

The basketball star shot a commercial in 2012 for Turkish Airlines alongside Barca forward Lionel Messi but he didn't get to meet Messi who is still on pre-season break after playing in the Copa America with Argentina.

Barcelona are on pre-season tour of the United States and will take part in the International Champions Cup where they will face MLS side, LA Galaxy and Chelsea.
