Super Eagles defender set for Besiktas move

Omeruo who joined Chelsea in 2012 spent last season at Kasimpasa also in Turkey after loan spells at ADO Den Haag and Middlesbrough.

Besiktas according to reports are looking to sign the defender on a permanent deal but have been prevented by UEFA Financial Fair Play regulations.

Omeruo will resume pre-season training at Chelsea on Monday, July 4. It is however not known yet if the club is willing to loan him out again.

Coach Antonio Conte will make the decision to keep or send him out on loan after assessing him in pre-season.
