Nigerian midfielder stars in Manchester City pre-season win

Nigerian youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho starred for Manchester City as they defeated FC Roma at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in  Australia.

Iheanacho provided the assist for the opener for Manchester City new boy, Raheem Sterling.

After receiving the ball near the centre circle, Iheanacho turned to chip in a delicate through ball for Sterling who finished off with his first goal for the Citizens. '

Roma came back into the game with stunning finish from Miralem Pjanic.

Iheanacho put City back in the lead when he intercepted a back-pass from left back Ashley Cole to coolly slot past the goalkeeper.

Adem Ljajic leveled for Roma again with an expertly taken free-kick to beat Joe Hart.

Hart converted one penalty himself during the resultant shoot-out and saved twice from Seydou Doumbia and then Seydou Keita to give City the victory.
