The Christian Association of Nigeria has condemned the bomb attack that rocked a mosque on Friday, November 28.
Over a 100 people have reportedly lost their lives at the bomb blast which occurred on Friday afternoon outside a mosque in Kano as Muslim faithful were observing their Friday Jumait prayers.
In a statement released and signed by CAN President, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the association said the attack on the place of worship is the greatest evil to mankind and to God almighty.
The association also commiserated with Muslims community and the families of the victims. CAN called for the Government to address these attacks and look for a way to stop them.
“On behalf of the entire Christians community under the auspices of CAN, I wish to commiserate with the families of the victims especially those who lost their lives in the attack. This attack on the people of Kano is an attack on all Nigerians and must be addressed as such; this is the time for all to rise up and act,” part of the statement reads.
