Super Eagles midfielder scores for Levante

Super Eagles midfielder, Kalu Uche was on the score sheet for his La Liga club, Levante in their 2-2 home draw against Atletico Madrid on Sunday, May 10.

The Aba-born football struck in the in the 63rd minute giving Levante the lead before former Chelsea forward Fernando Torres equalized for the visitors in the 80th minute.

Atletico had to pull back from a goal down twice to take home a point from the La Liga game.

The conceded first in the 30th minute as  David Barral slotted home from close range for his 11th goal of the season for Levante.

Diego Simone's men however pulled equalised instantly through Guilherme Siqueira who volleyed in from six yards.

Uche bundle home a cross to hand Levante the lead before Torres's late equaliser.

Despite not taking the whole three points from the game, Levante are now sure of retaining their La Liga status next season with 36 points from 36 games and 14th on the log.
