Leonardo Bonucci revels in title success
Closest challengers Napoli's 1-0 defeat at Roma on Monday handed Juve the Serie AÂ title, sparking wild celebrations in Turin.
It completed a remarkable comeback for Massimiliano Allegri's men, who registered just 12 points in the first 10 matches of the season before embarking on a run of 24 wins in 25 games.
Bonucci told Mediaset: "It's been a crazy season given everything that has happened.
"Everyone took us for dead in October, but they forgot that we carry the Juventus Scudetto on our chest.
"We had to change direction, the Juventus of the first few months was too bad to be true. Credit should be given to the coach who allowed us to think about every game without anxiety and the leaders who took the situation by the hand.
"No-one expected Juventus to win the Scudetto, this will go down in history for the way it came and because it's the fifth.
"We proved wrong those who said that we would not be the same without [Andrea] Pirlo, [Arturo] Vidal and [Carlos] Tevez. Instead we have shown we are a winning team."
