Klopp was pictured smoking at the club's Melwood training ground before joining his players on their team bus on Wednesday, May 6.
He hid behind a wall to enjoy a cigarette before joining his players in the team bus as they prepare for their Europa League second leg semi-final clash against Villarreal at home.
The German’s friend and former room-mate, David Wagner, spoke about his habit earlier this year revealing that the 48-year-old smoked during his playing days.
“Sometimes I spent more nights with him than with my wife,” Wagner told the Liverpool Echo about his relationship between him and Klopp.
“He doesn't snore but he smoked – although I only allowed him to smoke in the toilet, unless there was a balcony,” the Huddersfield manager said.
Klopp will be more concerned with Liverpool’s clash withVillarreal following their 1-0 defeat in Spain last week.
A place in the final is at stake and Klopp will be looking to win a trophy in his first season at Liverpool.
