African football stars like Samuel Eto’o, Yaya Toure, Alex Song and former Everton coach David Moyes have all reportedly agreed to partake in the testimonial game.

The former Everton defender has been traveling all around Europe to personally invite his friends and former colleague and his is pleased with the responses he’s getting.

“It has been amazing. Almost everybody wants to come and play,” Yobo told Sahara Reporters.

“My only regret is that I can’t invite everybody.”

The 35-year-old was on Saturday, April 30 where he played between July 2002 and August 2010.

He was warmly received by the entire club and presented to a stadium-wide ovation by the fans at half time of their Premier League game against Bournemouth.

Speaking on the visit to his former club, the former defender said it was an emotional moment for me.
