Former Super Eagles captain gives out gift ahead of his testimonial

Ahead of the testimonial, the former Everton defender has revealed that he will be handing out hundreds of signed football mementos and tickets as part of preparations for the game.

“I know a lot of people want to attend the game, and I am grateful to everyone. This is a very important time for me and I feel that the fans should share in this too,” Yobo told The Nations Newspaper.

“Because the match is marking my 100 games for Nigeria, I want to give out 100 items each. So there will be 100 balls, 100 jerseys and 100 tickets for fans.”

Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel and assistant captain, Ahmed Musa have been released by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to play in the testimonial which takes place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium Port Harcourt.

Ghanaian Premier League stars, Andre and Jordan Ayew, Cameroon international Alex Song and other African football greats will be attending the testimonials.
