Despite the clash appearing predetermined given the vast difference in skills and accomplishments, Burroughs did not underestimate his opponent. The Olympic champion maintained constant pressure, even as Brady pursued him across the mat. However, Burroughs' explosiveness and speed proved an insurmountable obstacle for the UFC fighter, especially during key moments of the match.

Burroughs opened the scoring by pushing Brady out of bounds, then executed his signature double-leg takedown. He lifted Brady high into the air and slammed him to the ground, taking a five-point lead.

It's worth noting that Brady didn't give up on his attacks, attempting to surprise his opponent, but his efforts were unsuccessful. After another push-out, the first period ended with a 7-0 lead for Burroughs.

At the start of the second round, Burroughs once again showcased his power with an explosive double-leg takedown, bringing Brady down for another four points. This extended his lead to 11-0, ending the match via technical fall.

"I'm going to Moscow on September 5th. I'm open to a third match as well," Burroughs stated after the victory, referencing his three-fight deal with RAF. "I'm extremely blessed. I'm grateful that Sean Brady even accepted this challenge... I'm blessed."

Brady, one of the best grapplers in the UFC but with no prior wrestling experience, put in a respectable effort, but his chances were minimal. With his performance, Burroughs once again proved why he is considered one of the greatest American wrestlers in history and showed that he still has much to offer the sport.
