Jokić and Bogdanović Together in Denver?! It's Time...

The NBA free agency period has just begun, and all signs are pointing towards a transfer that Serbian basketball fans have been hoping for for years. Bogdan Bogdanović and Nikola Jokić leading Denver to a title together? It's possible.

The Los Angeles Clippers opted to waive Bogdanović on Monday, and just a day later, news emerged that veteran Tim Hardaway Jr., who plays Bogdanović's position, had departed Denver.

It's a simple equation: 1+1=2. The aforementioned market developments are painting a clear picture, suggesting that Bogdanović could finally team up with Jokić at the club level.

Bogdanović boasts nine NBA seasons under his belt, and the likelihood of him returning to Europe this summer is minimal, as another year in the world's premier league guarantees him a maximum pension.

Consequently, the Serbian national team captain is expected to secure a contract with a team willing to pay him the veteran minimum next season. It's hard to imagine a better fit than him and Jokić in Denver for such an arrangement, especially now that the Nuggets have lost an experienced player capable of covering both the shooting guard and small forward positions, just like Bogdanović.

Bogdanović entered the NBA in 2017, fresh off winning the EuroLeague with Fenerbahçe and coach Željko Obradović. Prior to that, he played for Partizan. Over his nine seasons in the NBA, he has played for the Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, and Los Angeles Clippers.

Last season, Bogdanović appeared in just 23 games for the Clippers, averaging 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per contest.

VIDEO "My conscience bothered me, that's why I came!" Jokić surprised by coach's decision: I'm not sure I deserve the captain's armband!
