Rohr is taking trips around the world to meet his players and discuss his plans with them ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) and 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The tactician’s trip is usually around Europe but with his captain and one of his most influential players now in China, Rohr has included the East Asian country in his tour.

The French-German coach who is currently in Gabon to monitor the ongoing AFCON 2017 will be in China in the second week of February.

He will meet with Mikel to discuss his plans with his captain and also find out how he is fairing at his new club.

Rohr has been given permission by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to visit any player he wants to.

After his trip to China, Rohr will make a trip to England to meet with the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lukman, Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi.
