Olga took to her Instagram to announce the death of her father; “we said our last goodbye to you today daddy you were not just extraordinary as so many said today. You were a legendary man, father, friend, companion, husband and grandpa. Your strong hand is holding my hand for life. I love you ❤️ My rock, my life my Dad  Rest in Peace monkeypops,” she wrote along with a photo of her dad carrying one her twin daughters.

The Diyankeno family is a popular and powerful family in Russia close to President Vladimir Putin and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

Mikel met Olga started dating in 2013 after reportedly meeting him in London where her late ran a chain of businesses.

The couple who is reportedly married welcomed twin daughters Mia and Ava in September 2016.

Mikel Obi is yet to make a comment about the loss.
