It's Just Started, and Nikola is Already Bleeding: Edwards Hits Jokic, Forces Him Out of Game /VIDEO/

Opponents often resort to aggressive tactics to stop Jokic, who frequently leaves the court bleeding. This Saturday was no exception, as he took a nasty blow to the nose from opposing star Anthony Edwards midway through the first quarter.

Edwards, during a layup attempt, caught Nikola in the nose, drawing blood and forcing the three-time MVP of the world's strongest league to temporarily exit the game.

However, Jokic quickly returned to the court, helping his Nuggets erase a double-digit deficit and enter halftime tied with their opponents at 62-62.

The Serbian international finished the first half with just six points, attempting only four shots (2/3 from three, 0/1 from two), alongside six rebounds and seven assists. Another triple-double seems to be on the horizon.
