Is there "meat on the bone" for Zvezda and Partizan? These are the ten best EuroLeague free agents!

The EuroLeague season is slowly approaching, and teams are gradually completing their rosters. However, some players are still looking for new clubs, and these names could be on the radar of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet and Partizan for the rest of the season.

The free agent pool might seem modest, but it's not lacking in quality. All the players listed boast significant EuroLeague or NBA experience. "The Eternal Rivals" (Crvena Zvezda and Partizan) could potentially pick up a player from this list to finalize their rosters for the upcoming season, which is just over a month and a half away.

1. Omer Yurtseven

No one had a more bizarre season than the Turkish big man. He started the season with Panathinaikos, only to be released by "The Greens." He then secured two short-term contracts with the Golden State Warriors before ultimately finishing the season with Real Madrid. The Madrid side desperately needed a center, to put it mildly. Real was swiftly eliminated in the Endesa League playoffs, making the Turk a free agent. Yurtseven certainly has a lot to prove and is undoubtedly looking for a stable contract.

2. Monte Morris

The American guard was a casualty of Giannis Monteros and Cody Miller-McIntyre's arrival in Piraeus. Simply put, there was no room for him. This NBA veteran and former Nikola Jokić teammate brings instant quality and just needs to adapt to the European style of play. He also brings a championship pedigree, yet surprisingly, no one has made a move for him so far.

3. Richaun Holmes

Another former center for "The Greens" is on the free agent market. The American big man clashed with Ergin Ataman and paid the price. The Turkish coach's ego prevailed, and the former NBA player became a free agent. This powerful center would be a good fit for most EuroLeague teams, especially given how thin the market is at that position.

4. Bruno Caboclo

A player who just can't seem to settle down. From Partizan to Hapoel, then to Dubai, the Brazilian clearly has talent, but something is missing. It's hard to believe that a player who can stretch the floor and dominate with his athleticism is currently without a club. Perhaps he'll reset his career with a EuroCup team, but he undeniably possesses more than solid EuroLeague quality.

5. Brandon Boston Jr.

A player who didn't quite show his full potential at Fenerbahçe. Perhaps he was overshadowed by Talen Horton-Tucker and other guards at the Istanbul club, but there's no doubt he's a scorer with immense quality. He might not be the perfect fit for "The Eternal Rivals," but he's ideal for Spanish teams – not necessarily Real Madrid or Barcelona, but rather Baskonia or Valencia. It would be a shame if a player of his caliber didn't get another EuroLeague opportunity, as he's ripe for a breakout, much like Jordan Nwora at Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet last year.

6. Aleksej Pokuševski

Pokuševski left Partizan this summer and is now searching for a new club. Aleksej was linked with Vassilis Spanoulis' Aris, but nothing has materialized yet. The Serbian forward could revitalize his career with the right club, he just needs to find it, and quickly.

7. Artūrs Žagars

The Latvian guard has been plagued by injuries over the past few seasons and was released by Fenerbahçe. A point guard of his caliber would be a welcome addition to any team. The Latvian has the potential to explode, but his health remains a significant question mark. He needs to get back to full fitness, otherwise, questions about his career might arise: "What if?"

8. Rolands Šmits

Another Latvian on this list, whose form has dipped since his move to Efes. He was once considered one of Europe's best power forwards during his time at Barcelona and Žalgiris, but he couldn't be as effective on the Bosphorus. Injuries have also taken their toll, but at 31, there's certainly still a place for him in the EuroLeague.

9. Vincent Poirier

The French center is currently injured, but who wouldn't want him on their team? An excellent alley-oop threat and a player who can do so many things on the court, yet he's without a contract... It's expected that this won't be the case for long, and he'll join a team as soon as he recovers from his serious injury.

10. Levi Randolph

The final player on this list. He started the season with Zenit and finished it with Hapoel. This player is a fantastic scorer and can contribute significantly, whether from the bench or as a starter. He deserves a chance.
