FC Porto’s Nigerian youngster Mikel Agu has been reported and will miss the rest of the pre-season training with the Portuguese club.
Agu, 21, who was recently promoted to the first team of Porto after the end of last has been tipped to be a main stay in the Portuguese side line up.
The defensive midfielder will now have his hope for a startling kick off to the season hampered by the injury which might put him off until Christmas as initial reports suggest.
Agu joined the FC Porto in 2010 and was registered to take part in the team’s Europa League campaign for the coming 2014/2015 season after they were eliminated in the play-offs of the UEFA Champions League.
The player was a part of coach John Obuh's Turkey 2013 plans before he was dropped from the main party to the championship.
