This was disclosed via a statement released by the state’s Head of Service, Soji Eniade.
It reads:
“Governor Ajimobi has approved that Friday, March 4, 2016, be declared a public holiday in the state.”
“The holiday is given to commemorate the coronation of the 41st Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji, who will be installed at Mapo Hall, Ibadan, on the same day.”

The previous Olubadan, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugadedied on January 19, 2016 at the age of 101
