Uber is giving out Ice Cream!
Hello Kenya, Uber is giving out free ice cream this Friday in Nairobi and Mombasa.
In a statement, Uber said the UberIceCream day giveaway is part of a global campaign were rider in 69 countries and 400 cities will be able to request an ice cream at the push of the button.
To make this happen, the company has partnered with Delia's All Natural Ice Cream to deliver Uber's uniquely labelled dessert called "Bits and Atoms". Just by tapping a button, users of the Uber app in Nairobi and Mombasa will be able to request 2 servings of Delia's Natural Ice Cream right to their doorstep.
“UberIceCream is a global promotion that celebrates what we have in common, and gives us an opportunity to come together. We are thrilled to bring our riders this exciting experience and we hope riders will take a moment and indulge together,” said Alon Lits General Manager for Uber Sub Saharan Africa.
Here's how to go about it:
- Open the Uber app on Friday, July 15, 2016, between 11am - 3pm.
- Slide to the Ice Cream view, choose a pick up location, and request Ice Cream.
- Uber will deliver 2 Ice Cream servings at a cost of KES 200.
