Syrian couple wed in refugee camp

20-yr-old bride Roychagia and 27-yr-old groom Sacher, tied the knot in a wedding ceremony which held in the rain and mud of Idomeni refugee camp.

A bride and groom, both Syrian refugees wedded in a refugee camp located in Idomeni, Greece, on Tuesday, May 3.

The couple defied the odds and tied the knot despite the horrible circumstances which had brought them together, running from war-torn Syria.

20-yr-old bride Roychagia and 27-yr-old groom Sacher, tied the knot in a wedding ceremony which held in the rain and mud of Idomeni refugee camp. Dress and flowers were donated to the bride; a cake was also donated to the young couple who looked happy as they exchanged vows.

Solar puffs were also donated to serve as light for the couple as the ceremony went on inside the little tent.
