Marc-Edouard Vlasic scored a goal with five seconds left to give the San Jose Sharks just their second win in six games in the NHL.

An offensive zone faceoff was won by Logan Couture for the Sharks and he teed up Vlasic, who struck the decisive goal in San Jose's 3-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Monday.

The win saw San Jose join the Vancouver Canucks and the Los Angeles Kings on 47 points in the Western Conference's Pacific division, 11 adrift of leaders the Anaheim Ducks.
The Sharks had led on two other occasions in Winnipeg with Brent Burns and Melker Karlsson scoring for the visitors before Andrew Ladd and Jay Harrison struck the respective equalisers for the Jets.
Winnipeg sit fourth in the West's Central division, also on 47 points.
