Newcastle United has officially announced that forward Harvey Barnes has extended his contract with the club. The Magpies confirmed that the player has signed a new long-term deal, though the specific duration of the agreement was not disclosed.
"I'm incredibly happy to sign a new contract so early, even before the season kicks off. It's been an amazing journey so far, and I'm thrilled that it will continue. From the moment I arrived, I knew how special this place was, and after three years here, I'm even more convinced. I love everything about it – the city, the stadium, the people – and I'm delighted to extend my stay," Barnes commented.
"Over the past few years, I've already tasted success and experienced some truly special moments with this team. We all want more, and I want to be a key player who helps the club move forward," the winger added.
Harvey Barnes joined Newcastle in 2023. Since then, he has featured in 120 matches for the team, scoring 30 goals and providing 14 assists.
