The Belarusian revealed that preparations are still in the early stages. "I'm just collecting ideas. I have a wedding folder on Instagram where I save inspirations I like. That's where we are right now," she explained.

Sabalenka praised her fiancé's approach to the planning process: "Giorgios has been very smart; he lets me decide what I want. There are a few things where he says, 'Okay, this has to be there,' and I reply, 'Yeah, okay, whatever.'"

In an interview with Tennis Channel, the world number one indicated that the ceremony will take place in Greece, although a date has not yet been set.

The main goal for the big day is fun. "For now, we're going to do it in Greece. I just want a really fun party so everyone can have a good time and enjoy themselves. That's it, and I really hope it turns out that way," she stated, humorously adding about the possibility of a live stream: "I don't know if doing a live stream from Greece would be such a brilliant idea, because I think I'll be drinking, and there might be alcohol on the table. Of course, there will definitely be a lot of margaritas."

The tennis player also highlighted her current good form at the Ohio tournament. "I think when I'm truly enjoying myself, it doesn't matter if it's an exhausting match or a game that lasts less than an hour. As long as I'm having fun, that gives me extra energy," she commented, preferring to maintain focus to keep her momentum going.

Finally, Sabalenka discussed her new orange outfit for the US Open, the final Grand Slam of the season. "I loved it. I literally look like a basketball hoop and a ball at the same time. It's something different, and I really liked it, to be honest," she said, also confessing a curious basketball skill: "I have to say, I'm very good at shooting, but my technique is embarrassing. I'm good at three-pointers. Whatever works, right?"
