President to dissolve cabinet today, May 27

President Goodluck Jonathan is set to dissolve the Federal Executive Council (FEC) today, May 27, 2015.

The meeting at which this will occur will be presided over by the President in Abuja.

During the session, the President is expect to give a speech highlighting the achievements of his administration since May 29, 2011.

Ministers in Jonathan’s cabinet are also expected to give speeches on their own tenures as well.

The meeting will reportedly begin at 11am.

Jonathan will hand over to Buhari on Friday, May 29, 2015.
