Edo State to honour four players

Four players from the victorious Golden Eaglets stars who won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be honoured by the Edo State Football Association.

The association will host an awards ceremony on Friday, December 18 to celebrate and honour four Edo State indigenes who were part of the victorious squad.

Chairman of Edo FA, Frank Ilaboya, said the event is organised in collaboration with the Emmanuel Usoh Foundation.

“The awards night is also to create awareness for the Edo FA and to celebrate the football body as a brand,” Ilaboya stated.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Oba Akenzua Cultural Centre in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
