After being closed for more than a year following a fire, the GE Lagos Garage is relaunching.
The grand launch event will take place on November 22 from 5-9 pm in the newly renovated space at Mansard Place on Bishop Aboyade Cole Street in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The design challenge for the almost-completed facility was to take an office space and make it look and function as a light manufacturing and training space.
International architect Françoise Aramide Akinosho (whose work you can check out at  http://www.faadesigns.com/) led the project.
Past participants, public officials, investors, and entrepreneurs will all help celebrate the opening.
The event, where the top 50 applicants out of 1500 to pitch to a panel, will start on November 11 at 1pm at the GE Lagos Garage Space.
The panel will decide the final participants based on their thoughts on how likely they think the person is to start a scalable advanced manufacturing company.
You can follow the excitement and results on Facebook page.
