Despite nine road traffic crashes, no lives were lost.

Samuel Odukoya, the Edo sector commander, attributed this to all the hard work and efforts put in by the FRSC.

"Four Special Marshals and 550 officers and men of the FRSC were deployed for the Easter Special Patrol from March 23 to March 30.

Two ambulances and a tow truck were also deployed to ensure accident-free celebration in the state.

However, nine road traffic crashes occurred in the state during the period; 15 persons were injured and no lives were lost."

Odukoya also revealed the number of arrests made over driving vehicles with forged documents (OFD), Driver’s Licence Violation (DLV) and other traffic violations.

According to the sector commander, a mobile court took care of the arrested offenders, prosecuting 35 offenders, convicting 33 and discharging two.
