From Beer to Champagne: Another Triumph for Jokic at Horse Race

Nikola Jokic, one of the biggest stars in global basketball, had significant reason to celebrate during the traditional "Duzijanca" festival in Subotica, as a horse from his "Dream Catcher" stable triumphed in the day's most important race.

The world's best basketball player followed the harness racing events alongside his brother Nemanja, paying special attention to the performance of his horse, driven by Vlada Pribic.

Jokic watched the start from the sidelines, beer in hand, and after the finish, he had the opportunity to celebrate another success for his stable.

The three-time NBA MVP's love for horses is well-known. He traditionally spends his free time during the summer visiting racetracks in Serbia and the wider region.

Following victories for his horses in Sombor and participation in Ada, Jokic found new satisfaction in Subotica. There, his horse, guided by Vlada Pribic, crossed the finish line first.

The Serbian ace didn't hide his excitement over the victory, happily embracing the awards ceremony, swapping his beer for champagne, and holding his children in his arms.
