The former Chelsea player last year signed for New York City FC but will be spending the whole of this season with Manchester City on loan.

But he will finally play for his MLS club from this summer and he was recently pictured house-hunting with his  fiancée, Christine Bleakley.

The couple was spotted viewing a $39.8million (N7.9b) New York home in Manhattan's West Village.

The property was previously rented for two years by Hollywood actor Robert De Niro.
