Among the notable guests in attendance at the Belgrade Arena was Radoslav Nesterovic, a former player for the black-and-whites. The Slovenian standout was spotted alongside Vuk Danilovic, son of basketball legend Predrag Danilovic, though it seemed the crowd in the arena barely recognized him at first...
Early in his illustrious career, Nesterovic donned the Partizan jersey during the 1992–93 season before playing for PAOK, Olimpija, and Virtus. He then headed to the United States, spending 11 seasons in the NBA. During his stint in North America, Nesterovic featured for Minnesota, San Antonio, Indiana, and had two spells with Toronto.
In 2005, alongside Gregg Popovich, Tim Duncan, and the rest of the legendary squad, he captured an NBA Championship with the San Antonio Spurs. Nesterovic eventually drew the curtain on his playing career in 2011 with Olympiacos.
