According to Automotive News Europe, these two are close to finalizing the agreement.

Once concluded, FCA will manufacture self-driving cars in its assembly plants, while Google handles the technological aspects of these cars.

Although both parties have refused to comment, the says the two have been negotiating for several months.

Reuters says the partnership could be announced soon.
