Super Eagles midfielder extends Amkar Perm stay

Speaking on the new contract, the 28-year-old says he will do everything possible to repay the faith of the club in him.

Ogude joined the club in January 2014 in a deal that was meant to expire this month. He has however extended his stay by signing a new two-year contract.

“I am very happy to continue my career with Amkar,” Ogude told the club’s official website.

“I see how the fans and the club management love me and I want to pay them back.

“I have lived in Perm for more than two years and I’m fully accustomed to the city so I’m satisfied with everything here, so I’ll see you in the new season,”

His new contract is a reward for his impressive outing last season where he played 60 games for Amkar Perm in all competitions and scored four goals.

Ogude is a Nigeria international and was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the 2013 African Cup of Nations.

He has 16 caps for the Super Eagles.
