The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) is setting up a plant for the production of road signs.

Yesterday, January 1st, Corps Marshal, Mr. Boboye Oyeyemi, announced that the plant will begin operations soon.

Speaking with the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency, Mr. Mike Omeri, Oyeyemi said the road signs produced would be provided to skilled drivers for private individuals at affordable fees.

He added that this would help reduce road accidents.

Oyeyemi also revealed that the production, installation and maintenance of appropriate road signs would be done across Nigeria, with the help of state governments.
