Mame Niang's release clause at FC Porto will, in fact, be €30 million. Initially, the agreement between the blue and white club and the young Senegalese striker stipulated a €20 million buyout clause, but the figure increased after negotiations between the parties.
The 20-year-old forward has already arrived in Porto, landing at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport on Sunday night. Niang joins the Dragons from Norwegian club HamKam and is set to sign a five-year contract. The deal will cost the blue and white SAD €1.6 million, plus an additional €700,000 in potential performance-related add-ons.
The 1.97-meter tall striker is expected to be officially unveiled as an FC Porto player in the coming hours, and will initially join the B team's training sessions.
