Artistes expected to perform at Ile-Ife fiesta

The event was organized to promote the rich culture of the ancestral city as stated amongst the goals of the recently-crowned Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

Lil Kesh, 9ice, Falz, Simi and Taye Currency are amongst the artistes expected to perform later today, May 28, at Osun state, where the event “Ile-Ife Fiesta” will take place.

Oyinkanade, Adetoun, Still Ringing, Arole, Fabulous Pizzy, Keanzo, Yinka Adonai, Goke Bajowa, are also among the other musicians and comedians billed to thrill dignitaries, guests and the people of Ile-Ife.

The event was organized to promote the rich culture and tradition of the city as stated amongst the goals of the newly-crowned Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.

Ayo George, Director of the project, says all is set for the success of the event, which, according to him, will leave a mark on the town as one of the best ever experienced.

“Various programmes, artistes and comedians have been lined up for the day. I am confident that it will be an unforgettable experience for everyone that would grace the event, or watch it live from anywhere in the world. There will also be fireworks and other surprises to make the event grand,” he says.
