Fallen truck, container causes major traffic on Lagos-Ibadan expressway
Last night, November 1st, a truck and container fell on major road, Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
As expected, this caused a major traffic obstruction.
Thankfully, a traffic official helped motorists move slowly on only one side.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened.
Although, there was no death or injuries this time, a fallen truck and container led to the death of three people on Sept. 2nd.
On this fateful day, a container on a trailer, heavily loaded with cement, fell and landed on two cars at the Ojuelegba bridge.
The driver of the truck, Wasiu Adeleke, and owner, Adeyanju Kilani, were taken to court on a twelve-count charge on Friday, September 11th.
On October 12th, Pulse Nigeria reported that the owner of the truck, Kilani, has been granted a N250,000 bail while the driver, Adeleke, has been denied bail.
