Sylvester Stallone's franchise is heading to TV

According to Deadline reports, Sylvester Stallone's franchise 'Expendables' is heading to the small screen.

According to the reports, Fox is interested in developing an event series based on the ensemble action movie 'Expendables', and have ordered a script for the series.

The 2010 'Expendables' film is about elite mercenaries tasked with a mission to overthrow a Latin American dictator.

There is no cast attached to the series yet, but Franchise writer, Stallone, is on board as the  executive producer.
