He'll be backed up by 37-year-old Slovakian Martin Dúbravka, who joined Spurs after Burnley's relegation from the Premier League. Kinský's new contract signing was announced by the club on its official website.
The Prague-born player moved to the "Spurs" from Czech side Slavia Prague a year and a half ago for 12.5 million pounds, as reported by sport.cz. Vicario kept him out of the starting lineup, but the Italian was plagued by injuries at the end of last season.
Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi gave Kinský a chance in the relegation battle, and his performances helped secure their top-flight status. He kept two clean sheets in seven league appearances this season.
"I'm very happy, I feel the club's trust. When I joined 18 months ago, my expectation was to fight for my place in the team and wear this shirt every week. It's already a great story, and I'm looking forward to what awaits me in the coming months and years," Kinský stated for the club's website.
