D’Tigers started the game poorly and had no answers for the Argentines who were fantastic with their shoots.

Nigeria were behind very early in the game 11-0 but managed to get it to 22-15 in the first quarter.

They were looking to have a grip on the game before Shane Lawal got injured early in the game.

Argentina however were very efficient and clinical with their shots.  From 34 outside shots attempted, 15 of them were on target.

Ike Diogu had the highest point for the D'Tigers (15 points) led in the Nigerian team and also had 13 rebounds.

Ebi Ere is next with 14 points and 3 rebounds.

D’Tigers who only managed four out of 25 will face Lithuania next.
