The Los Angeles Lakers are turning their attention to the 2026/2027 NBA regular season, with Luka Doncic speaking about team chemistry, health, and his role in the revamped roster following the team's latest practice session.

Asked whether his leadership style has changed compared to his early days in Madrid or his time in Dallas, the 27-year-old guard deferred the question to his teammates.

"I think that's a question for the others—how they perceive a leader on this team," Doncic emphasized. "I'm just a leader in my own way. Like I've said, I've been in similar situations often, but I think I'm doing great with this group of guys," the Slovenian added.

When questioned about how much patience the team will require in the early stages of the season, Doncic took a pragmatic approach: "I don't know how much patience will be needed. It's just the start of a new season, there are a lot of new guys, but I can't predict the future, so I don't know exactly how much patience we'll need."

"I can't wait to get out there and play. I'm always super excited," Doncic said.
