Jibrin is accusing Speaker, Yakubu Dogara and other principal officers of the House of smuggling N284 billion into the budget.

The House re-opened on Wednesday, September 21, and despite the allegations, the reps resumed their legislative duties with delighted smiles on their faces.

Some of them were also pictured wearing “I stand with Dogara” scarves and others actually tied the scarves on their heads.

Jibrin has been calling for Dogara’s resignation but the speaker is going nowhere because, according to him, padding is not a crime.

Meanwhile, the House was thrown into a rowdy session on Wednesday due to an alleged attempt to suspend Jibrin.
