After the game, Oparanozie took to her Instagram account to show off an injury to her face after she was struck in the face by the boot of an opposition player.

''I feel pity for @CAF_online and African football in general. It's such a shame that referees are being used to manipulate games,” she said.

“Who would've believed there's no caution for this injury let alone a sent off.....would you believe if i told you i was standing on my feet when this happened?

“Those were boot studs(soft) raised as high as my hight.....all the way to my forehead, leaving me with four(4) different cuts "and there's no form of caution whatsoever".

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have not reacted to the claims made by the Super Falcons star as at the time of this report.

She was however in much better spirit on Sunday, April 10 as she shared another photo of herself returning from church.

“Yes! I am hail and hearty, i am strong and alive, i am able and capable. The devil's got nothing on me cos i am the apple of God's eyes. To the glory of God the battle was wonGod's got me for real,” she wrote.
