"Develop the ability to be persistent" - Mo Abudu

D2D is honored to launch its special series of masterclasses presented by most prominent business moguls and ace entertainers sharing their story and words of inspiration.

The eighth mentor joining the FCMB Challenge during D2D Bootcamp is Mo Abudu Executive Chairman and CEO EbonyLife TV and one of Africa’s top media entrepreneurs.

Abudu began her tutorial revealing the successive steps she had to take from her early life career to build a media empire. She advised the D2D finalists to start thinking early about their purpose in life, pointing up that, to be achievable, goals must be broken down in smaller pieces.

About the importance of self-learning, Mrs. Mo Abudu remembered the naissance of Moments with Mo and how she taught herself the job of TV-hostess: “At the time, the person who I saw as a reference was Oprah Winfrey. My job for months was to watch all her episodes”.

Mo Abudu continued speaking about self-assertion and persistence "If there was one thing in life that can take you from point A to B is your ability to be persistent”.
