Real Madrid star watches NBA game while on break in United States

With the La Liga Christmas break on, Cristiano Ronaldo has jetted to the United States for a short holiday break.

The Real Madrid star on Tuesday evening attended the Miami Heat game against the Detroit Pistons at the American Airlines Arena.

Before the game he was greeted British basketball star Luol Deng.

Ronaldo was given a warm welcome by the Miami Heat with a huge announcement and a gift of a basketball jersey with his name and favourite number on the back.

“Thanks for the hospitality guys! Nice to meet you bro! @luoldeng9,” Ronaldo late wrote on Instagram.

The 30-year-old forward will be back in action on Wednesday, December 30 for Real Madrid.
