Testing Data:

The total number of tests conducted to date is2 194 624with40 233new tests conducted since the last report.

Reported Deaths and Recoveries:

Regrettably, we report a further93COVID-19 related deaths- 6 from KwaZulu- Natal, 11 from Mpumalanga, 16 from the Free State, 37 from Western Cape and 23 from Eastern Cape.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to4172.

We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased.

The number of recoveries is138 241, which translates to a recovery rate of 48%.
