Following the conclusion of the second round of the NBA Playoffs, we will discover who will be crowned the MVP of the regular season in the world's premier basketball league.

The candidates for the MVP award include Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Victor Wembanyama. Despite Jokic's superior statistics, rumors are circulating that the award will go to Shai.

The phenomenal Serbian basketball player is averaging a triple-double. He leads the league in assists (10.9) and rebounds (12.9), ranks seventh in points per game (27.7), and boasts the best player efficiency rating by a significant margin.

Evidently, all of this isn't enough for Jokic to secure his fourth MVP award. Bobby Portis, the Milwaukee Bucks star, articulated this sentiment clearly.

It's a conspiracy against Jokic. They don't want to vote for him because he already has three MVP awards, and nobody wants to give him a fourth. Nikola Jokic absolutely deserves the MVP award.Bobby Portis
