"Shuga" Wins Award At World Media Festival 2014

It's a big win for Shuga,the MTV Staying Alive Foundation and MTV Base (Africa) creation, Shuga, have won the prestigious Gold Award in Edutainment at the World Media Festival.

We all loved the series which kept us entertained in a good way. Shuga is a series wherenearly everyone is keeping something hidden from those they love—from their family, their girlfriend, their boyfriend, their lover, their best friend, their husband.

The third series of Shuga, which was filmed in Lagos was written by Kemi Adesoye and directed by Biyi Bandele.

The series had a cast of top celebrities like Tiwa Savage Balogun, Ice Prince, Iyanya, Maria Okanrende, Chris Attoh, Ikubese Emmanuel Ifeanyichukwu, Nick Mutuma, Okezie Morro, Dorcas Shola Fapson, Leonora Okine, Sharon Ezeamaka, EFA, Timini Egbuson among others.
