Romans 5:11 -

"So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God."

John 15:13 -

"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

John 15:15 -

"I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you."

How do you become God's friend?

Be rest assured that no one can win God's love with their works. You simply can not bribe Him into loving you by doing the most in your church or paying tithe e.t.c.

All of these are great but true friendship is built in intimacy, by spending time with Him. The more you make time for Him and get to know Him, the deeper your friendship becomes.

The more you trust Him, obey (John 15:14 ), let Him in and allow Him to reveal Himself to you the better friends you become ( James 4:8).
