Check Out Chris Pratt's 'Super Illegal' BTS Avengers Instagram Post
With its release in the rearview mirror, the film's stars have taken a few moments to reflect. Perhaps the most interesting reflection so far has come from Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy. Pratt posted a star-studded video from the movie's set on Instagram Monday morning. "This is a really illegal video," he says with a smile, before the ever-energetic Chris Evans (Captain America) starts to banter with him. "Big trouble!" he tells him.
View this post on Instagram I remember being blown away in this moment on the @avengers set. Nobody was allowed to film anything on their phones. I said screw it. No rule was going to stop me from seizing this once in a lifetime opportunity to capture this collection of stars, a groupthat likely will never be in the same room again. We are so blessed. Everyone who's anyone seems to be getting ready to do something in the video, most of them in costume. Look around: there's Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Danai Gurira (Okoye), and Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange).
Lastly, there's Pratt's fellow Guardians: Dave Bautista (Drax), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), body doubles for both Zoe Saldana's Gamora and Karen Gillian's Nebula, and Sean Gunn, who you probably recognize as one of the Ravagers from the pair of Guardians films, but who also performs the motion capture for Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper, who may have been busy singing with Lady Gaga at this precise moment in time. Who's to say?)
"I think I'm the most famous person here," Gunn (brother of Guardians director James Gunn) joked, looking right at Pratt's camera phone.
Reaction to this video has been huge already, with praise coming from superheroes both Marvel and DC alike.
Some spotted in the video were quick to reminisce:
Others made it clear that it wasn't quite them (though they were there in spirit!):
Another Guardian of the Galaxy was feeling the love for his cast-mate:
The movie's chief antagonist had to leave his mark as well:
The moment was so epic, on such a large scale, that even superheroes from rival universes chimed in-see comment from Shazam! leading man Zachary Levi:
And some comments? Well, they're just kind of out of nowhere. But that's OK:
