Citizens of France have observed a minute’s silence in honour of the victims of yesterday’s attack on the Paris office of satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo.

French President, Francois Hollande presided over the rite which was recorded on video.

Hollande announced yesterday that a day of mourning would be held for the 12 victims from midday today, January 8.
The victims comprise of ten staff of the publication and two police officers. Three suspects have been identified in connection with the incident.
